Non-Traditional Food

Pho Vietnam Tuan & Lan

-There are many great Vietnamese restaurants in Prague featuring the best Vietnamese food I have had outside of Vietnam.  This particular restaurant is one of my favorites as they offer Vietnamese coffee and great pho.  If you have a few extra hours you can even take a trip to Prague 4 to a neighborhood called “Little Hanoi” for an even more authentic experience.

Restaurant Modrý zub

-Literally translated as ‘blue tooth’, you will find multiple locations of the Thai restaurant Modry Zub, each set up differently.  I have only experienced this location but have never been disappointed by it.

Lemon Leaf

-Excellent Thai food.

Curry House Prague

-Outside of the centre at Palmovka Metro station.  It has been a few years since eating here, but recent reviews seem to show it is still excellent quality Indian cuisine.

Other Asian Restaurants

-You will find many sushi restaurants in the city, and every shopping mall tends to have all you can eat running sushi.  I currently have no specific recommendations for Japanese/Sushi restaurants as I have not personally been to many.

-Most Chinese restaurants are of low quality and offer cheap flavourless dishes.  The best Chinese style dishes I have had have been in shopping mall food courts.

Las Adelitas

-There are 4 locations in the city, the one above is just footsteps from the Astronomical Clock.  Traditional Mexican food at fair prices.  Some of the best margaritas in the city

-Italian restaurant on a boat.  You will pay a bit extra for the location and the lovely view of Prague Castle, but overall a fair option.
